Taaleri Energia, together with its partners Masdar, DEG and Finnfund, were announced as the winners of the IJ Global European Onshore Wind Transaction of the Year at a black tie event at the Natural History Museum in London on the 22nd March. The winning project was the Čibuk wind farm in Serbia, which was an investment by the Taaleri SolarWind I fund.The wind farm, which is now fully constructed and has started operations, is the largest in Serbia consisting of 57 GE turbines which can produce up to 475 GWh  per year, enough electricity to power approximately 80,000 households. The Čibuk wind farm will offset around 370,000 tonnes of carbon each year
